Effective July 25, 2009. The following describes Global Energy Solutions Corp. (further referred to as GESC), use and disclosure of information gathered from online visitors to certain websites owned and operated by GESC.
This web site is the responsibility of GESC. The web server on which this web site is housed is owned and maintained by Bluehost. The following policies apply to www.global-nrg-solutions.com and all other web sites, web pages and/or web properties owned and operated by GESC (collectively "Sites").
U.S. - EU Safe Harbor Privacy Statement
For personal information of employees and customers that GESC receives from the European Economic Area, GESC has committed to handling such personal information in accordance with the Safe Harbor Principles. For more information about the Safe Harbor Principles and GESC's certification, please visit the U.S. Department of Commerce's Website at www.export.gov/safeharbor/ .
Information Collection and Use
GESC does not collect personally-identifying information about you unless you voluntarily submit that information to us through this site, by email, or by other means. When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain non-identifying information about you, such as the domain name that referred you to our site, the type of browser or computer operating system you use, and navigational information. We collect this non-identifying information internally, to help us analyze the effectiveness of and enhance usefulness of our marketing efforts. Our website uses Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses. An IP Address is a number assigned to your computer by your Internet service provider so you can access the Internet. Generally, an IP address changes each time you connect to the Internet (it is a "dynamic" address). Note, however, that if you have a broadband connection, depending on your individual circumstance, it is possible that your IP Address that we collect, or even perhaps a cookie we use, may contain information that could be deemed personally identifiable. This is because with some broadband connections your IP Address doesn't change (it is "static") and could be associated with your personal computer. We may use your IP address to report aggregate information on use and to help improve our website.
Registration forms on our website require you to provide accurate contact information, which helps us deliver a high quality of service. By checking the box on the registration form and submitting your details, you are indicating your consent to receiving marketing emails from us and personally identifiable information that you provide (such as name, email address, telephone number) may be used to send you information about our company, product and services, special offers, and newsletters. To view or modify information previously submitted, or to opt out of receiving future communications, click the personalized link provided at the bottom of the email communication you receive.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file created on your computer by a Web server, which can be referenced when that website is visited. Cookies cannot access files or other information stored on your computer. There are two types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are used during a single website visit and are automatically deleted from your computer when you close your browser. Persistent cookies are used to track website activity over a longer period, and remain on your computer until either you choose to delete them or they expire.
GESC uses persistent cookies in several places on our website so we can pre-populate forms to improve your ease of use. For example, the information provided during a brochure download is captured so that you do not need to enter it again when requesting additional documents. GESC may also use persistent cookies to collect analytical information about how visitors use our website. For example, we may measure website usage, access to online services, and the level of interest in particular products. We use this information to improve our service and provide a better experience for visitors to our website.
Do I have to accept cookies?
Depending on the Web browser you use, you may be able to configure it to accept session cookies but disable persistent cookies. If you do this, you will be able to use the EnerNOC website, but your browser will not remember your personal preferences when you return to the site (e.g. download forms will not be pre-filled). If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome or Netscape Navigator for Windows, you can follow the instructions in the toolbar on your browser to accept session cookies but disable persistent cookies.
Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
We maintain a secured area on our Sites for transmission of personal data, and store all personal data in a private database which is not connected to the Internet. Although we will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of the personal data you provide to us, transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. We will have no liability for disclosure of such data due to errors in transmission or interception by unauthorized acts of third parties. We may, from time to time, make certain contact information about our customers available to third parties for the following purposes: we may disclose information to vendors who facilitate and/or support our customer transactions; we may disclose information to entities to whom we are legally required to disclose information; and/or we may disclose information to third parties with whom we have relationships through which permission-based marketing is conducted.
Any third party with whom we have a relationship pursuant to which we provide, rent, sell or otherwise disclose data collected from visitors to our site will be carefully pre-screened, determined by us to be reputable, and will use the data provided solely for marketing products and services which we determine, in our sole judgment, that visitors to our Sites might find of interest.
Access to and Ability to Correct Personal Data
The GESC website may include contact forms for customers to request information and services. In such instances, GESC collects customer Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as a name, an e-mail address, a mailing address, and telephone number. PII may be used to contact customers and send customers information about GESC, the services available on the GESC website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups. GESC will not sell or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement. PII may be disclosed as required or permitted by law.
Our Sites may contain links to other sites. Other sites may also reference or link to our Sites. GESC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other sites.
We reserve the right to share your personal information to respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law.

You should be aware that this site is not intended for use by, or designed to attract, individuals under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we actually know is an individual under the age of 13.
